What exactly is cooking with spirit?  Aside from all of the love, nurturing, and seasoning that is necessary for a great dish, it also happens to be the name of my forthcoming cookbook.  Why did I choose this for a title?  Well, aside from the play on words, it also happens to encompass my love of cocktails, and an ode to my life as a bartender/beverage director.  There are also a lot of recipes in this book that contain some sort of alcohol in them!

This book has been a long time in the making, and really lets me showcase not only my skills in the kitchen, but behind the bar as well.  The book is set up in sort of a “dinner party” style, complete from cocktails to starters to entree and sides, all the way through to dessert.  With over 120 recipes, you will be hard pressed to not be able to put on the ultimate event for you and your guests.

In addition to a multitude of food and beverage recipes, you will also get a glimpse into my personal life.  There are a great deal of stories from my childhood (along with some revamped recipes my dad used to make), my career, how I got to where I am today, and everything in between.  This book is sure to be a mainstay in your kitchen repertoire!
